Over that past couple days, we have been caring for seven children from a family down the street while their mother has been at the hospital having #8. Although this has been tiring, it's a great opportunity to simply love and serve this family. (The two oldest girls, Ayalen and Nahir, are the girls that I have been spending time with.) Yesterday was very tiring with the children as the younger ones were still a little unsure of us. We bathed and feed them and then walked them home around 8:00pm, right after dinner.
Today, we did the same thing all over again, but it went a lot smoother, partly because we made five of seven kids go school. As a little motivation, we have promised the children that if they go to school for five days in a row, we will take them out for ice cream. So far the motivation is working. Until later...-Kristen
